Composition
The base of Silicone Coated Fiberglass Fabric is made from glass fibers, known for excellent strength, low thermal expansion, and electrical insulating properties. It offers good dimensional stability and resistance to chemicals and abrasion.
A layer of silicone rubber is applied to enhance flexibility, heat resistance, and water repellency. Stable from -50°C to 230°C (-58°F to 446°F), and can withstand higher temperatures for short periods.
